If Robert S. McNamara made it to heaven, he’s getting the crap beat out of him by Vietnam Vets.  McNamara died at the mcnamarar_oh spry age of 93.

As a warning: I apparently, spent all of my jokes on the glut recent updates and we’re just going to have to live with it.  Hey, at least I didn’t go on a rampage about fear-mongering the US into war.

McNamara was the Secretary of Defense during the Vietnam war (he was to Vietnam what Rumsfeld was to Iraq).  He, at the time, thought that if Vietnam fell to the Communists that Communism would spread throughout Asia and the South Pacific.  The reverse-domino effect.  (*sigh*)

Vilified for his role, McNamara once had to escape from an angry mob Harvard through a series of maintenance tunnels.  Insert punch line here.

In his later years, he saw the error of his ways saying that the war was a grave mistake.  He was famously interviewed in the must-see, Oscar-winning documentary "The Fog of War."

This hit goes to: Jay & Erica (Damn them!) increasing their lead by another ten points.

Happy pooling and I swear that I’ll try harder next time,

SPMI
