We missed a hit!  Way back on September 12, Norman Borlaug died at the spry age of 95.

"Who is Norman Borlaug," you ask?  Well duh.  Only one oBorlaugf six people to win  the Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom AND the Congressional Gold Medal. (The other five being Martin Luther King, Jr., Elie Wiesel, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and Aung San Suu Kyi.)

He developed a disease-resistant wheat that is credited for saving the lives of of on billion people world wide.  ONE BILLION PEOPLE!

OK.  I’ve never heard of him either.  I also never heard of the last guy on the list.  Aung San Who?

But apparently, his list of accomplishments include: discovering global warming, inventing cool whip, killing Adolf Hitler, mapping the human genome, invented UNIVAC I, developed cable TV, invented the I-Pod, developed the microwave for GE, discovered plastic and made the first self-flushing urinal.

This hit goes to; Imaginary Steve!  And it makes an Imaginary Difference in his Imaginary Mind.  Although, this does put him in a tie with your illustrious Ghoul Pool Administrator with 50 points.

This is a good example of how wise it is to Google the more obscure picks on your list before the draft period has ended.

Draft day is… tomorrow!!!  Yay!

happy pooling,

SPMI
